You simply pay for a piece of software, download it, install it, and you instantly get thousands of channels at your viewing pleasure. Most of the software you can find online is offered for one time purchases, and you can get unlimited viewing on them. The kicker is that the software is a whole lot cheaper than any hardware that you can find.
